Two Cities Early in New Season

The AMS Staff Leasing ProMod Challenge has reached two cities thus far in the early race season. Al Billes won the opening event of the season in Gainesville, Florida at the 2004 MAC Tools Gatornationals. A first time winner at an NHRA AMS Staff Leasing ProMod Challenge event, Billes was excited with his victory. While on the IHRA side of the track, San Antonio, Texas hosted the 3 rd Annual Amalie Motor Oil Texas Nationals. The number 16 th qualifier, Glen Kerunsky, took out the #1 qualifying racer, Zack Barklage, en route to an early IHRA event win. The next NHRA AMS Staff Leasing ProMod Challenge event will take place in Houston, Texas for the 2004 O’Reilly Spring Nationals on April 15 th through the 18th . The 34th Annual IHRA Spring Nationals will arrive in Rockingham, North Carolina on April 23rd through the 25th . See you at the races!
